Some confusion in # released. All sources say more than 5,000 (don't give time frame), but some go on to say that 35% (60 birds) have transmitters. That would be more like 170 birds released .... But they also say that this is the largest release to date, which 5,000 certainly would be.And there are A LOT of captive birds, so the value is probably right
