RELEASE DATE: Date birds were first allowed outside on their own. Were kept in aviary from Aug-Nov to try to prevent dispersal. REARING TYPE: For hand- reared (21 birds),human foster parents wore black t-shirts & ibis shaped hats to minimize imprinting on humans. 12 parent-reared. SURVIVAL: Unspecified date (as late as Sept '10). 6 are missing.
