RELEASE DATE: 35 released on May 29/30, 23 on June 12 (monitored 1st release for 2 wks to ensure survival). SELECTION CRITERIA: targeted subordinate individuals to minimize disruption of breeding on Cousin & maximize potential of breeding on Denis. MONITORING: Used capture-release in mist nets & playbacks. DURATION: until Sept '04 & again from Jun-Sept '05. 1 YR SURVIVAL: Females had about 60% survival while males had 85%. Not known why the difference.
