Species

This list includes all species that exist in the database. The list is sorted by Scientific Name. If you want to sort by Common Name, click on "Common Name". A species may be listed more than once if the release birds have come from different types of source populations; data are stored separately for captive and wild source populations. If you want to add a new species to the existing list, Contact Us.

If you want to limit the species list you can select by one, two or three of the variables listed below. By using a selection of filters, you can find species with different characteristics. The user should be aware that filters can be selected that produce no results found when cases fitting the filter do not exist in the database.

The filter "Order" lists those taxonomic orders that have a species entry. If an order is not listed, no species of that order have been entered in the database. The filter "Diet" can serve as an ecological indicator. The filter "Clutches per Year" can serve as an indicator of reproductive potential.
